Wedding Photography at the Hundred House Hotel, Shropshire, Catherine and Sarah.

I visited a new wedding venue last month to photograph Catherine and Sarahs wedding... the 'Hundred House Hotel' in Shropshire. I had heard a lot about the venue from other photographers, and have driven past it many times on my journeys elsewhere, but I had never been to the venue itself before photographing Sarah and Cats wedding.

It is quite a quirky spot to hold a wedding ... it has it's challenges photographically, but it stands out aesthetically and is quite a unique location to celebrate a wedding, especially in the areas within the hotel building itself (I imagine Winter Weddings there would rock!). The adjacent gardens are also really beautiful.... a little cramped maybe but beautiful nevertheless. I had a great time working there.

I first met Catherine and Sarah a year or so ago and was delighted when they asked me to be a part of their wedding day. They are a truly lovely couple, perfectly matched to one another. Seeing the joy on their (and their guests) faces during the day was a real pleasure for me. I really enjoyed spending time in their company and as they live locally to me I hope this won't be the last time we get to hang out together. Thank you so much ladies.

I LOVE this image... the decor in the rooms at Hundred House is 'unique' to say the least, but it makes for some beautiful photographs. I love Cat's pensive look as well :-)

A happy coincidence... I wanted to focus on the guest toasting Cat and Sarah, and got this tender moment thrown in for good measure :-)

There are moments during a wedding day when you know you just have 'the shot'. I love this image.... pure unadulterated joy and happiness.

The 'other' favourite image of mine (Love the black and white one a little more though to be honest!)....

Father and Daughter dance... kinda tricky lighting and space wise but I love this shot :-)
